Dry Volume Factor (1.54)
When water is added to dry cement, sand, and aggregate, air voids collapse and volume decreases by ~30–35%. A dry volume factor of 1.54 is standard in Pakistani engineering design to calculate raw dry materials required.

Standard 50kg cement bag volume is standardized at 1.25 CFT (0.035 m³). Bags formula:

Traditional “Sekra” (سینکڑا) Unit
In Pakistan’s local construction market, sand and crush are commonly ordered in “Sekra” or “Saikra”. 1 Sekra = 100 Cubic Feet (100 CFT).
Steel Calculation Rule
Standard residential RCC lanter (5-inch slab thickness) requires approximately 1.0 kg of Grade-60 steel per square foot of slab area including main bars, distribution bars, and overlap hooks.
